Nokia presents the Nokia Gift Machine

Like gifts? Who doesn’t! In the spirit of Social Media Week being held all over the world the folks over at 1000heads have teamed up with Nokia to introduce, the Nokia Gift Machine in Glasgow. The big blue vending machine is set to dispense gifts to users checking in using Foursquare. Once checked in a cylindrical blue tube will be dispensed by the machine. What’s inside? Gifts can range from a Butterfinger bar, Nokia accesories, or if you’re really lucky a Nokia mobile device. For those in the area head to Skypark, 8 Elliot place, Glasgow to check-in and have a chance to interact with a unique check-in experience but be quick the Gift Machine will only be there until the 23rd of September.

Unlike most machinery, the instruction manual is quite simple:

1. Open Foursquare on your phone
2. Find the Nokia Gift Machine @ SMW
3. Check-in using the #NokiaConnects hashtag
4. Share to Twitter
5. Collect your prize.
