A French security company known for its Mac OS X antivirus software released the first malware-scanning app for the iPhone and iPad and iPod Touch.

Because iOS prevents the program from accessing the file system or conducting automatic or scheduled scans — as do virtually all Mac and Windows antivirus software — VirusBarrier must be manually engaged, and then scans only file attachments and files on remote servers, said Peter James, a spokesman for Intego.

VirusBarrier for iOS can scan email attachments in a variety of formats, including Microsoft’s Word, Excel and PowerPoint; PDF documents; JavaScript files; and Windows executables, those files tagged with the .exe extension. It can also scan files in a Dropbox folder, those stored on MobileMe’s iDisk, or files downloaded via the iOS version of Safari.

The scanning engine and signatures — the digital “fingerprints” used to detect malware — in VirusBarrier for iOS are identical to those used by Intego’s Mac OS X product line.

VirusBarrier for iOS lets iPhone and iPad users run on-demand scans of email attachments before those files are opened or forwarded.

When an email attachment is received by the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, the user can intercede by calling on VirusBarrier, which then scans the file for possible infection before the file is opened or forwarded to others.

VirusBarrier for iOS can be downloaded to an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch from Apple’s App Store. It requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Install N-Gage On Nokia E5 and any other Similar Phone

The tutorial below will help you get N-gage Up and Running on your Nokia E5 device or any other Similar phone.

NOTE : Your phone MUST be hacked to do this. If its not hacked, you can get full tutorial either HERE or HERE

STEPS

1. Install 'ngage application.sis' to your MEMORY CARD
(This will take a while - It will install alot of Stuff. Just let them install.

2. When ALL installations are done, install 'ngage patch.sis'

3. Copy the text file named '20001079.txt' to C:/Private/10202be9 folder. (if not present, create it!)

4. Now Copy the Resident Evil game from "Test Game' Folder to E:/n-gage/ (if not present, create it!)

5. Now open N-gage Application and wait a moment for the game to be detected

6. When its done, it will show the game, now select the game,
   and scroll down to select memory card for it to install.
   now wait... It will take a while. Just be patient.

When done, you will get an 'Installation Complete' prompt.

NOW, Press Start Game and ENJOY!!!

NOTE : Always remember to disable PATCHES in ROMPatcher+ before running any
       N-gage game. Unless game might not start properly or might not start at all!

Also remember to re-enable the patches after playing your N-gage games.

The best solution to get rid of all these problems is to format your phone. For nokia symbian phones there are two type of format.

1.Soft Format
2.Hard Format

I recommend you to first go for a soft format and if your problem is not solved then go for a hard format.

Precautions Before You Go For Any Format

1.Back up all of your data and contacts.You can use nokia PC suite to do so.
2.Make sure that your phone battery is full.
3.Do not switch off your phone while phone is performing a format.

Soft Format: This will erase all the data in the internal drive.

1.To perform you have to close any background application if running.
2.Enter *#7370# in as you enter any phone number

Hard Format: Well! this might make your phone unusable if your battery get empty during this format.
So first Charge your phone or put a charger because it drains a lot of battery.You might require help of one person to

2.Then hold down these tree keys simultaneously.Green (call key),* key and 3 button.

3.Now Switch on your phone while holding these keys.And format will be started. 4.When the message “Formatting” appears on the screen then release these keys.
5.Wait till the format is complete. It may take a while.

Trick To Reset Memory card Password In Nokia

If you have a symbian phone and you have forgotten your memory card Password then you can easily get your password by using this simple trick.This trick works only on nokia symbian phones not on the java phones.Before starting the tutorial on “Tricks To Reset Memory card Password In Nokia” Here are the the requirements

X-plore application (Get full version at the Mobile Section of this blog)
Nokia symbian mobile phone.

The X-plore application is used to view the data files of the phone.

Here Is the step by step tutorial For resetting the password.

1.       Install the X-plore application in your nokia phone.

2.       Now start your X-plore application and press 0(zero) button and select “ show the system files ”.This will make the X-plore application to show your system files.

3.       After completing the above step goto C:/Sys/Data/MmcStore

4.       Now press 3 button from your keypad and you will see options.Now click on the Hex-viewer option.This will make your phone to show files in hexadecimal.

5.       Look at the 3^rd Column On the screen you will see a code like ! TMSD02G (c??”?x???6?2?6?2?6)  .Note down the numbers present between the ?.This is your memory card password.Like in this example the password is 62626.

6.       Now you can enter the password and view your memory card files or you can reset  your memory card password to a more memorable password.
Remember you can gain access to C:/Sys/Data/ if and only if you have set a password on your memory card.
